What we watch

Every change is reported in plain words: changed, suspended, revoked, reinstated or granted.
- Operating authority
- Granted, suspended, revoked, reinstated or inactive, for each authority type the carrier holds.
- Insurance on file
- BIPD liability, cargo insurance and surety bond or trust fund filings, including coverage that drops off.
- Out-of-service orders
- New out-of-service orders and changes to existing ones.
- USDOT registration
- Whether the USDOT number is active, inactive or pending.
- Company details
- Legal name and DBA changes, and changes to the address, phone or email on file.
Where the data comes from
Every check uses FMCSA’s public datasets: licensing and insurance, authority history, company census and out-of-service orders. We run once a night, not continuously.
FMCSA’s datasets can lag its own systems by a day or more, so a change can reach you a day or two after it happened. Always confirm on FMCSA SAFER before you act on anything we send.

Before you sign up
Where does the data come from?
From the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s public datasets, the same records behind SAFER and the licensing and insurance site. We don’t buy data or use third-party scores.
How quickly do changes show up?
We check every night after FMCSA publishes. FMCSA’s public data can lag its own systems by a day or more, so expect most changes within one to two days of FMCSA recording them. Confirm on SAFER before you act.
Do I use MC numbers or USDOT numbers?
Add carriers by MC number (FF and MX docket numbers work too). We look up the matching USDOT number from FMCSA’s records, and every alert links to the carrier’s SAFER snapshot.
Can I upload a CSV?
Yes. Upload a CSV of up to 2,000 lines; we pick out the docket numbers from any column and skip headers and names. You can also paste numbers separated by commas, spaces or new lines.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from the billing portal in a couple of clicks. You keep access until the end of the month you’ve paid for, and you won’t be charged again.
What happens to my list if I cancel?
Your carriers stay on your list, so you can pick up where you left off if you subscribe again. We stop sending alerts while you don’t have a plan. If you’d like your account deleted, email us and we’ll remove it.
